spice mi900 is still better as it has a capacitive screen which let the users to get full potential of android.. but if andro retails at around 6.5k then it will sell excellently..

im buying this..

just for the reason that it is a dual SIM android :P .. that is ..if GSM+GSM

many of my friends are lookin for the same..

i can live with resistive if it is as good as what they have on w900.. the touch response is good enough to get work done..

No its not a Dual Sim...

Here you go ... images from yesterday's launch event of the phone.

YOU CAN CHECK OUT FULL REZ PICS OVER AT MY FLICKR

Its currently Android 2.1 , might get Android 2.2 near Jan or Feb. Won't get 2.3 though. Touch is okay... the hardware button was nearly unresponsive so i dunno whether that was just my unit or in general... got a unit with me , review coming up in a few days on INFECTECH

Cam is not particularly good , but you do get wifi and 3G. Priced a bit lower than the XCD28 but you do get better A.S.S with Dell.

^^ All pics taken on the N8

This thing is butt ugly i tell you ! Washed out screen etc... i dunno , you'd have to be really desperate to be on the Android bandwagon to get this phone.

LOL it looks like a massager to me. Well laughed to my heart's content when my eyes first landed on the phone.
But not discounting the fact that Micromax has taken a dive for the Android bandwagon - I am actually happy.

After the LG Optimus its actually good that Indian manufacturers have launched themselves on to the Android Phenomena.
Hell with Specs...they will get better with learning. Whats important is that it makes Android more accessible to the common junta and only that can truly make Android an OS of masses and not just of the Geeks ;-)

The phone looks terrible, I hope they come up with higher end phones, hardware similar or better to LG P500 but with a cheaper pricing and better looks.

why are people still releasing phones on android 2.1,it beats me!

Android 2.2 has bee out a while now,I expect all new phones to incorporate them. :)

See thats the point , Google is pushing out updates so quickly (which is nice for the consumers) BUT , not all manufacturers have the budget to port every new FW revision to their device portfolio. This is why the lower end devices get left out...
