This is what i'm looking for in my phone
- Wifi
- Flash support
- A Good Display
- Compact Form
- High speed internet 3g support
- latest android gingerbread on board preferably
- A decent battery which should last me at least a day
- Smooth browsing performance
- i know i cant expect much out of the budget ~ a cpu of about 600 mhz preferably with adreno just in case
- Good multitasking capabilities (i might end up using more than 2 apps at the same time)
- a well laid out UI
what i'll be using my phone for mostly apart from the obvious
- Internet
- music
- apps (reader, and other internet based apps like gtalk, facebook, twitter etc)
- casual photo taking
What i really dont care
- Video capturing(if its decent enough, its good enough)
- it's gaming performance (wont be using the phone to game at all)
- GPS support, i know phones come along with this but people hardly come to use it.
What i've looked at so far and liked
HTC Explorer.
what's holding me on about this phone
HTC usually bundle their phones with batteries which aren't high rated, and this phone doesn't come with gorilla glass (i'm not the very caring gentle type) but i guess i cant ask for more
what i really like about this phone
bundles with android 2.3.5 and htc sense 3.5(latest)
that being said.. the UI is great... everyone says HTC android phones usually provides a fantastic UI experience, with sense 3.5 it gets it to a whole new level, (great on board browser)
If any of you have used this phone or/and have experienced something better than this phone please drop in a line. i can push the budget by another thousand bucks if its really worth it.
as far as makes are concerned
i'd like to stick to Samsung, HTC and LG
but if given a choice i'd prefer HTC or samsung
thanks
