Which is the cheapest android fone?? Which come pre installed with android or one which can run the os flawlessly ????
 
HTC tatoo is the cheapest in India. And dont buy the Samsung Galaxy, its RAM is just 128MB and wont be supporting Eclair. :)

PS: I have a tattoo.

When compared with Symbian or WinMo how do you find Android?? Is it fully matured OS??

@anish_sha If you want to jump on to the Android bandwagon, you can buy the HTC Tattoo.
But if you want to try out applications on the Android OS, very few are available on the Android Marketplace for the Tattoo.

This is because the display resolution of of the HTC Tattoo is 240x320 while all other Android phones have a resolution of 320x480.
So most developers have developed for the normal resolution of Android phones. If more phones are not released which has 240x320 resolution, there will be lot of problems of finding compatible applications for the HTC Tattoo.
 
I would say get an imported G1 from eBay or somewhere else or stretch your budget and get HTC Magic. Retails for ~22k here..

The future is Android. But at this moment, maturity wise, for me,

- Symbian>>WinMo>>Android

Out of Box, nothing beats Symbian. Android is a geeky phone. :P

You can buy HTC tattoo, it has pretty good responsive even with resistive touch screen.

Moreover it has HTC sense UI over android which is a treat

Totally Agree with you. That is why i am learning android development. Just waiting for a decent Android phone.
Was actually planing to buy tattoo. but due to the above mentioned prob will wait for some more launches.
 
A friend of mine bought Tatoo a while ago and wants to sell it. In case you wish to purchase it please PM me i list it for you here for sale. P.S. Mumbai Based.

I'm not sure if most of you know this. Android Applications are made for all three sizes available at one go. The Development interface enables the developer to make for all 3 at one go. The problem happened because of Tattoo came a little later because of the demand for small form factor phones. SO you will have lesser applications but yes definitely more will pour in.
