Android with battery of over 1 day with use of WiFi-Router/hotspot (over 3G)

Hi,

I have Samsung Galaxy Ace, but battery life is just ok. I wil be using it as WiFi hot spot over 3G. But i m afraid about battery draining in less than half day.

I m searching a droid with capacity of 4-5 hours of 3G use on my laptop/iPad using it as a WiFi router/hotspot without needing of charging.

Budget should be around 15K. I have not started thread in mobile buying guide as at the moment i just want to look which all droids are capable of this.

I had a samsung Captivate with the MIUI rom installed... It used to last 1 day with the kind of usage you have specified... Also there are several underclocking options and conservative cpu drivers (on custom roms). Which can make a phone last easily more than 1 day

@vyral_143 why not get a juicepack like around 4000mah for some 3-4k and use whatever phone you want.
As for android, Razr maxx is the only option but it would cost hefy.
else theirs another option to like getting a hotspot like Micromaxx or Photon

One android phone I have seen to have excellent/best battery life is the Huawei Ideos X5. The damn thing just goes on for days even with 3G switched on full time, light gaming, calls etc

Alternatively, if you want ti stay in samsung, consider an external battery pack which'll make your phone last forever (not literally )

Still haven't decided, better get a portable wifi hotspot else the battery pack 10,000mah I mentioned in pm.
Anything working but getting the external battery serves you as a source for both the phone as well as the iPad.
One stone, two mangoes.
