Google had announced earlier that their official Android event scheduled for today had been postponed thanks to a hurricane passing through New York. However, Google decided to go ahead with their event and launched their brand new Nexus devices (thus completing the Nexus family). Let's have a look at what's in store for us, as well as find out more about this incremental update which is Android 4.2, code name Jelly Bean itself.
Samsung Google Nexus 10
First up is Google's Nexus 10 tablet, which is as the name suggests a 10" Android tablet. This is Google's answer to the Apple iPad. After the immensely successful Nexus 7 tablet comes it's bigger brother, the Nexus 10. Made by Samsung, the Nexus 10 tablet packs Samsung's latest and world's first ARM Cortex A15 based CPU chipset, as well as ARM's new Mali T604 GPU. Also in tow is 2 GB of RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a mind boggling 2560x1600 pixels resolution IPS display on the front, putting even the iPad 3's 2048x1536 retina display to shame.

The Nexus 10 will be available on Google Play store in the US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan starting November 13, 2012.
ASUS Google Nexus 7 32 GB HSPA+
We already heard about Google's plan to launch a 32 GB Nexus 7 tablet. What's also in store is a 32 GB version with a SIM card slot, enabling mobile data (HSPA+). This is excellent for those who need data on the go and don't want to use a 3G dongle instead. Google has pushed out their older Nexus 7 8 GB (completely out of existence) out of the line up and replaced it with the 16 GB version. It's only more value for the buyers.

LG Google Nexus 4

Google has launched their latest iteration of Android, namely Android 4.2. However it retains it's name Jelly Bean. This is because Android 4.2 brings in new features, but nothing ground breaking which gives it enough importance for becoming the next Android, i.e. Key Lime Pie.
