Annoyance: Explorer auto eject

Guys,

Can anybody tell me that how can I disable auto eject when there is no disk in a optical drive and the icon is clicked in Explorer??

Please dont tell me to use a third party tweaking program. A direct registry entry info will do. Thanks a lot.

heh? default auto eject? no such thing in explorer!! the default action is it reads the drive and throws an error if no disk is found- "Please insert a disk into drive x ".

ur comp settings have changed.

My drive needs cleaning? lol. I have 3 drives in my system and all emit the same behavior. No bro. :) Its not cleaning.

Its a vista explorer feature (Or should I call it an annoyance). All my three laptops and my desktop have Vista and all behave in the same way.

XP users will definitely have not seen this feature.

And dont use this thread to bash Vista because of this feature please. :p Only people who can help reply.

^yea lol..this is common in vista..

suppose u click on a cd/dvd drive & there is no drive in it..

the cd/dvd tray auto pops out while OS displays error as to insert a cd/dvd..;)..

this is wat justin is talking abt.

me too want a fix for this.:D
