Storage Solutions Another DVD Burning Problem !

Hi Guyz ,

The DVD Writer is Benq 1650 .... was absolutely fine Till yesterday ... Giving problems Today. The Problem is dat Burning 4 gb of data is taking some 30 mins instead of 4-5 mins . The Media i am using is Sony DVD-R , the DVD Burns Fine but it takes a hell of a lot of time now. Why is dis happening ? :S Any Help will be appreciated

less ram or your due to lack ram might be the case or so...watsoever
nyways, how many yrs old is ur writer mate?

Might sound funny but restart Nero/DVD Writing software and/or your comp..This has worked for me whenever such problems arose

^Have done it countless Times .... The writer is almost an Year old i think , n do u guyz think d data cable might be a problem ??

^Possible. Also check your DMA settings.. if there are 3 or more consecutive DMA errors, Windows will roll back your IDE channel settings to PIO.
