Another final year project help thread

Hi.

I'm in my final year and am clueless about the project stuff.

Our college is hell bent on making us work on android/iphone based applications because it was somewhat of a success for our seniors.
We're supposed to implement them using Grails.

So the theme is gonna be an iPhone or Android application built using grails.

We're supposed to give our project ideas by next week. I'm absolutely clueless about what I'm supposed to do / what can be done.

Any help will be well appreciated!

Though, I can't help you find a project, it's really nice to see that you are supposed to do it grails. I really loved it. You would be making use groovy, a language similar to ruby but runs on perhaps the most famous platform JVM. And grails is very similar to rails, an excellent framework written by using mostly robust java frameworks. I am sure you are going to have fun doing the project.

Thanks! Well we are planning on emulating an automatic recharge system for mobiles. Checks your current balance once in awhile and then does an auto transaction of a preset amount. Dunno how we're gonna implement it though.
