Laptops another laptop suggestion

tell me if this is possible..

if i have 1280X800 resolution on my laptop (max).. n i want to hook up an external monitor which supports higher resolutions.. like 1680X1050 - 20.1" screen..

can i maintain the higher resolution of the screen where image is coming from the laptop which has a native resolution not more than 1280X800..

i guess you got it what i wanna say.. is that possible.. :clap:

cos then i am happy if its possible.. :D
 
got my m1330 today.. thanks guys for helping me.. this machine looks cool.. although the small font is giving me headache.. may be i'll get used to it.. but the LED screen looks great...
 
Trust me, you will be glad you spent the time to reinstall Vista and only the required drivers :) Before you start, copy the C:\Dell\drivers folder to a thumb drive for installation later, but you don't have to reinstall everything. Follow some of the recommended tweaks as well in that thread...

okey dokey.. if u say so.. so too reluctantly i shall format n reinstall vista.. lol.. n this way i get to partition the hdd too.. i got 200gb.. can make some partitions.. besides, can get rid of the bloat wares from dell.. btw, i love this LEd screen.. :D its the second day since i got this beauty.. :)
