The request for an audio section (great idea btw) made me think of this. There are plenty of posts in this site discussing video, HD, codecs, editing software and even camcorders. While I usually get all my info from other sites, it's rather difficult sometimes to find out something like Indian pricing and availability for stuff like cameras and software. We really don't have a good Indian video forum yet.

Right now it's slightly cluttered in my opinion with software talks in the Application section, camera discussions in the consumer electronics section and codec discussions even in the p2p section to an extent. It would probably be better when everything is together.

I could help build it by posting a few threads about common codecs, their usage and general misconceptions about video stuff. Could be made into a sticky to start things off.

I hurt you a lot in many posts, I am sorry man.. I never found a guy like you in india, you have a very good knowledge and try to improve it.

I will try mybest to be here, if not we will meet somewhere online!!! You may find me in all good video/film forums (yes, even in the popular torrent gfx too) under different usernames. (Yes, you can catch with this same stupid english)

I know where you are coming from , but for only Indian pricing and availability for stuff like cameras and software , a whole subsection is kind of useless .

But what we can do with if we get a section is some good file host to put up the videos .

That is something that deserves encouragement .
 
^Well I didn't mean only cameras and software pricing, I just asked for a forum section since I have answered quite a few questions on this site about all things video. I'm sure you have too. If a whole section is overkill, np. I was just making a suggestion.

i too recommend for a section like 'Audio Video Editing' here...

I saw ur siggy after the link in it was removed. And your 'RIG Stuff!!!' was still intact then. Only the link was removed and replaced with a 'Mod Edit: ' disclaimer.

Hope that clarifies!
 
Maybe you can start an AV sub forum, and preen out some section which are hardly seeing any activities.
