Media has blown things out of proportion, Star News hindi and any hindi channel are keeping on showing this over and over with often chick flash, a classical way of manipulating un-experienced minds in orkutting et al.

The only good journalists to come out of India would be Barkha dutt, that dark guy who used to come on NDTV and the defence reporter for the hindu (K. Subramanyam I think).

Barkha Dutt is from a commie channel (dig into NDTV you'll get the clue) , nothing offensive though, and I used to like her but after the recent debate in the 'so called' Indo-Pak peace process dialogue with Geo TV, It simply made me throw up on how much amount of psy-ops was the melodrama staged to bring infront the public and to make the uninformed innocent lot mug. :hap5: Lets not talk about ibnlive, though there are some very good reporters in NDTV , Vishnu Som, Kishalay are real good ones.

TS Subramanian is a class writer. Raj Chengappa, Huma Siddiqui and other op-eds in various newspapers (pioneer et al) are very good as well. Infact The Hindu even though having a different political leniniency is a very good overall newspaper in reporting science et al, but ofcourse N Ram is something different who does not deserves to be where he is. He should be packed and send off to China.
 
It's sad that someone innocent was killed and all, but why the hell would you meet up with random strangers who you've never seen/heard before? It's not Orkut which is at fault here, it's the fault of people giving out their personal info as to how and where you can meet them, their phone numbers etc. It's not advisable at all.

Btw, did anyone catch the ToI's article about carrier based F-14's and F-15's participating in the exercises? At least the defence journos should know the basics when it comes to reporting.
