Well i m also going for one but budget is less than 10k including good headset...so peeps suggest one...i my sis is using iriver h10 and want sound quality of that level....
Just saw aladin thread abt Cowon D2 the PMP...looks it will fit in my budget but wht are the other options...i need FM also so apple touch and all stuff is out..also they will b out of my budget....
Also suggest a good earphone with quality of ep630 but not the wired which u have to tuck within ear but like this headphone

By ur requirement, i find no other player than the cowon d2 or the creative zen :P

Both have top notch screens and music. Just that Zen comes without a touch screen, radio recorder and tv out...

Sansa e280 is also an option, it has small screen and no touch interface but overall it's an excellent audio player rather then a video player

Agreed...it will b within touch range 14-16k i guess....and when another bomb releases curve will go cheap like d2....but i m ready to see wht price it comes out in us

Zen X-Fis are frankly overpriced in india.Good features and decent sound quality but build quality ain't that good.
 
If they're built on the same Zen platform, build quality is really good, i haven't seen many players sustain a couple of falls without any damage to it.. somehow my zen survived.. he can always get it from kmd.. i think 190$ for all that is the best vfm..
 
If not for the mandatory FM, I'd suggest the Nano 3G. Superb sound, although the D2 is at par, and offers more features. Basically they're very different PMPs - one's extremely portable and the other is a feature rich one.

32k i think with Cowon India.

i could be wrong but a frnd enquired prices a few days back :ashamed: A3 was around 22-23 i think :P
 
I have a D2 and it SOOO rocks...

amazing features and a really handy option to use it WITHOUT touch screen also (converting volume and M keys to track control) so while driving or jogging u can exercise blind control...

As for rest of the features... too good. only thing you might need better earphones to do justice to the capabilities of the D2...

and, just to state the obvious,

+1 for the D2 :D
