this steam is bugging the hell out of me

today i just started steam it updated the platform and then boom program crashed and now everytime i start the steam it crashes :( ne solutions to it? apart from reinstall :p

PS: i started steam after a months interval lol
 
If you have started it after months, then it probably is trying to update steam or the games you have. This will mostly cause steam to goto its favorite "Not bothered" mode. It will continue to run in the background, consume a few tons of Ram and apparently do nothing. Steam also expects you to just sit there and wait patiently for about 10-15 minutes :p

Just give it a little while, and it should come up to the main window :)
