^^ well i myself have listened to many orthos... NAD RP18 (mylar), yamaha ( HP-50S , YH-2 )and the fostex t20's and they are just amazing to listen to..but then the very first song i listened on LCD -2 , i knew this was something else ..just another level. All the orthos i have mentioned have a unique identity of their own for their price range, especially NAD RP18 , the best ortho headphone i had ever heard before LCD - 2. also i found LCD -2 surprisingly easy to drive which i thought would not be the case..overall its a good investment..
