Another thread regarding Upgrading to Win 8

Hi,

I'm currently having a year old dell XPS running win 7 Home premium that came with it. I'm wanting to upgrade it to win 8 (for no obvious reasons) How do I go about it (the legal way) keeping the upgrade costs to a bare minimum? Is there any sort of direct upgrade from my current os to the one that I'm looking for?

Also, what flavor of win 8 will be most suitable? I mostly use my comp for browsing/music/movies and occasional to rare gaming.

Legal way will be to buy an upgrade pack directly from a retailer like Flipkart or download it through microsoft directly through the windows 8 upgrade assistant. The price will be around Rs1999 through microsoft and 3k on FK (since you will get a dvd) i suppose. Only the windows 8 pro option is available to you since you will be upgrading from home premium.
 
After making payment, will get the Key, next downloading Win8 ISO, Can Upgrade ISO DVD be shared ?
One of my friend has download about 2.5GB, Just Make Payment and Get Key.
 
I dont think the download can be shared. The size varies for 32bit and 64bit versions. Plus you cannot install 32/64bit version if previous version of windows was 64/32bit.
