Corsair - no probs with APC Back-UPS

You think so ? :ohyeah: visit the corsair forums and read all the cries of anguish from Corsair + APC BackUPS users. In fact for most problems posted in that forum the Corsair staff who moderate that forum ask first " ARE YOU RUNNING A APC UPS ?" :P

Ask Chief-Techie about his problem with the Corsair 620 and the BackUPS 1500. He finally Upgraded to a SmartUPS 750 (or is it considered a Downgrade going from 1500va to 750va ? :) ) to stop the PSU from buzzing.

to stop the buzz there is a trick :)

install powerchute & set sensitivity to high ;)

that is how i stopped the buzzing on mine :D

^^^ err - high ?? or should it be low ? the way I see it a high setting would give more buzzing

it stopped mine :S

OK I will remember that !! THANKS !! I always had mine at HIGH - maybe thats why I did not have the buzzing sound with the BackUPS with both the Antec or Corsair PSUs :)

the Recent Batches of Corsair seems to have the Prob with BackUps Fixed,i got 2 Corsairs for my Friends within a Span of 2 weeks :),both are running on backups & dont have any buzzing noise :ohyeah:

Edit: High Setting is not always Recommended in Powerchute, even for small Fluctuations it will go back & forth to batter :(,Medium seems to be a Ideal Setting Used by many

I have a HX620(bought in March) with APC BackUPS , no buzzing problems (tried all settings in powerchute)
