Do we have any active member in Jorhat, Assam? Need help with something. I have relatives in Guwahati and they said Jorhat is really far. Is there any train connecting the two towns? Distance is over 300 km daaaaaamn.

How many hours does the train take?
I checked Google and it seems to touch Dimapur (Nagaland) too. I want to buy something but seller is in Jorhat and he doesn't want to ship.

Why not? it is crazy to expect you to come in person
 
I mean the trains take anywhere from 7 hours to 12+ hours. Some intercity trains take longer but if the seller does not want to ship, it shouldn't matter if the train takes 10 or 100 hours. What is the item and can't it be shipped by regular courier services or is it high value or an item which is irregularly shaped?
