I am thinking of buying a cruiser for myself. I have used splendor and pulsar and need something different now. I thought about a cruiser but i dont find even couple of options. I totally hate enfield brand so those phat-phatias are out.

Please suggest something or make my choice of Avenger even stronger. :hap2:

Have a nice day.

do u think u're left with ne choice after ruling out the enfields? go get the Avenger n "Be God"

Avenger sucks in terms of build quality...but i guess thats the case with all bajaj bikes.:P

If you want a real cruiser, i'd say just get the thunderbird.

I am not aware of current market that is why i asked here. BTW, I just saw Yamaha site and the R15 looks cool. Anyone knows its on road price?

dude u said u loon for a cruiser? n now the sporty yammy is catchin ur attention. the r15 could be had for about 100grand on road.

R15 costs around 1.7k, better get the upcoming FZ 16 if you're not looking to spend that much.

Both aren't cruisers by anyway though.:P

EDIT: its 1.07k...was a typo.

Ok ok i am sorry, i am losing on my own words. :P

But that R15 looks cool guys. But 170k is too much. I can max spend 100k.

If you can spend 100K then just get the R15..and you're gonna rediscover the whole biking experience.

@aladdin: bro alchemist just clarified its 1.07 k n not 170 k so it might just fit teh bill.

Yeah i saw it sarang. 107k fits my bill. I have some time to think upon it. Maybe i should test drive the R15 first.

yup, test drives are a must. See if you can take the monster to the highways for a longish ride n then decide. city road tests for such a beast won't tell u nothing bout it.

Dude,what's the point in editing??

first 1.7k then 1.07k ??? it's 107K ! Wer u dazed wen u typd that out?:bleh:

@Aladdin

The Bajaj Avenger and Yamaha Enticer(discontinued!) were the only true cruisers available..

then there's the thunderbird but that's out coz u don prefer Enfield.

And i agree with "The Alchemist" on the build quality of bajaj bikes ! it's just bad..

they look nice,perform well but are NOT built with the best of materials..IT'S A FACT! (no flamming on this plz! :P )

So u finally end up with the Avenger 200 DTS-i as the only option for a cruiser..nice looking cruiser indeed but when it starts to come apart is when the trouble begins

@TheToxicMind

Not 180 DTSi, but the liquid cooled 200cc one.

I have decided to first take a test ride of R15, but that bike is too much of a poser which nature-wise iam just not. But my friends are forcing me to buy it so i will take a test ride and decide.

^^ my bad..i meant the new 200cc one !

if u really want a cruiser and like the avenger,just go for it ! don't let ur friends force you..

the build quality of Avenger is pathetic and so is the engine imo, has some kind of plastic feel to it when u ride it, really ruins the whole experience imo

I have an eliminator and so far not a single complaint from me for it, too bad its not available anymore

as for the R15 its a good bike and if ure not gonna use it a lot then id recommend it but if u commute more than 30-40kms per day then its not very comfortable i feel

Yeah Avenger build quality is pathetic :P. And if you are tall you are in for a really bad ride in that bike.

p.s i have an Avenger 180cc btw. Scared to take it for a long ride these days :(. Dunno when which part will give up :P. So i stick to the city limits.
