below is one of the images which Creative Mints created in C4D. I want to learn how to create this in blender. Basic things I know is that this is a collection of planes stretch on x axis with displacement, then bend it in one access and then rotated to create a sphere like shape.

I am new to this. Tried it but failed really bad with this.
What I did was as below:

  1. Create a plane.
  2. Scale it on x Axis.
  3. Add Displace Modifier.
  4. Go in Edit mode and added Sub Division. for Exp added 20 as the number. Smoothness to 2.
  5. Added Texture to Displacement and in the map added cloud texture to it.
  6. Added SimpleDeform and tried to bend it. output was a disaster

Expected Output:
image

What I made was as below:

Totally Failed

Subdivision.
I did divided it with 10 and 20 but the result was not any better. Can you help me in creating and understanding how the image I am targeting can be created in blender. This was done in C4D as much as I know.

You can do this in any software - the methodology (tools) will be different, but the underlying concept will be the same.
You need to add a subdivision modifier (which I don't see in your modifier list) and then displace with a map or a fractal/cloud texture

I did added the modifier but and when added more than 20. this bump would go crazy and I was not able to bend it as per the shape. that whats the issue now is.

I don't know the blender.

But when you bend it, does the uv projection bend with it? I don't think the projection is baked yet and still exists separate from your plane.

I don't know how fractal works in blender but procedural fractal exists with its own 3d projection box. You need to bake it onto the plane before bending it. Rather go with fractal jpg instead of procedural one.

Also does Blender show high res displacement in the viewport? You may still have to render it to see the actual displacement.
