Laptops any chances of selling off kaput laptop?

guys,

my HP laptop has gone kaput recently, is thr any chance i can sell off the laptop. would there be buyers around for kaput laptop either online or locally (in Bangalore or some other city)?, everything is in place in the laptop and in working condition except some problem in motherboard, its 3 years old.
any suggestions guys?
