And you have wireless connection everywhere that you can use with your phone, ipad, even your family member can share the same connection. Its a bit costly, but I ended up using it considering nonsense costing by alternative to BSNL.
That sounds good in many ways, but reduces mobility. Using the nternet while waiting for someone, dentist appoint etc, you would need to all the time carry around a device right.
What about switching from Airtel to BSNL if their 3g rates are good? Is their mobile service very bad?

I think I'll just use the 200/- 500MB 3g of Airtel and give it a try. Usage should not be much as I have wifi at home and office. I suppose like other phones, it will preferentially use wifi when available.
