Well, hello, crowd!
I've always liked modding, especially custom mousepads, and recently i've started making really lots lots lots of them. Either do them for free - just for my friends, or it's like smb says "you know, a friend of mine has a birthday soon, and i have no damn idea what to offer" - so here's where i come into play.
Could you please give me some good critics on my pads - what's OK, what can be done better, and so on.
All the pads are USB powered, they have hard plastic coating, so it isn't that easy to scratch. They also have silicone pads on the rear side, so they don't slide.

Thanks in advance

design wise it looks excellent but dont like any branded mouspads- razer, steelseries ... all waste of money . The performance is disappointing ...instead you shud make ur own with a sunmica as surface

+1.
lookwise it outperforms every Gaming mouse pad.
but i don't know whether it performs that well.
on the other hand it's very good for normal users who wants some "BLING:D BLING:D"

Have you even used any of the branded mousepads??? I dont think so......All the gamers around the world are not stupid to be using these mousepads if they were waste of money and more importantly if the performance was disappointing...

On Topic, these mouses look simply brilliant and the pics you have taken are as good as professional pics....

btw how much time do you take to create one???

wow..looks great..nice job lexx...can u put up a tutorial on how to make those things

wud love to have one on my desk...

@thebanik's "All the gamers around the world" is an overstatement . they only add a flash value to the desk

How do u make all these ????

Well, first of all i'd like to thank you all for your positive feedback and comments, they really mean a lot for me.

Well, the surface is laminated, if it is what you were talking about.

lookwise it outperforms every Gaming mouse pad.

thanks! ))

but i don't know whether it performs that well.

i'm still working on it, for now the surface is just flat plastic, i need to make it more like "PRO" gaming surface :)

btw how much time do you take to create one???

now, when i use laser cutting machines and silkscreening machines it takes about 30 minutes, i think. Earlier, in the era of fretsaw, sandpaper and soldering kit it took me about 12 hours. looks like a progress.

can u put up a tutorial on how to make those things

Well, the initial tutorial was put up by the One and the Only Metku - pioneer of gadget modding and stuff :) You can check it out here (notice the year - 2001).

Welcome to the forum buddy!

Thanks, man! )))
