hmm did a slight adjustment... will do more tomorrow.. have to edit the link colours actually.. i think those are light...

temme this.. is the txt i am typing ok now? (that is non link text)
 
its pretty much ok, the thing is that the background colour is too light, so causing a lot of glare, thats why causing some eye strain..

very good suggestion.. i hate it when it takes too long for pages to load when i am at dishnet.. the connection is fast there.. its the comps that get on my nerves!
 
hmm so we need to reduce the rendering time :)
Well it takes time to load pages if i browse in my celeron 266

didnt like one thing.... the way the bar below the post reply button merges with the thread tools....cant u do a gradient??

actually i can do that but didn't to avoid any more load. Right now it is a just a shade faster... and it ain't looking bad is it? I mean it gives a block appearance.
 
all dark skins will have that.. as smiley backgrounds are inherently white.
and changing all of them is not too easy.

Dunno why people are dying for that dirty thing. That default skin for vB is the ugliest forum skin ever. Also, there are a hell lot many forums not bothering to change their skin, and hence, it has become the general maal. It just does not do justice to the supremacy of TE. :ohyeah: The TE skins are exclusive & a break from the rest. Also, they give a distinct look to the Forum & help it gain a recognization of its own.
Anyways, to each, his own. :P

Well everyone is entitled to a choice, and after all, there does seem to be a bit of demand for it ...

Anyway, I would probably myself prefer the TE-Lite over VB default skin, though a simpler skin would always get my first preference, simplicity rules ....
 
@quick : i was referring to dark and jet, they had smiley probs.

nice work folks :clap: i guess suprnova did the skin, kudos to you ;)
