I'm running windows 7 beta 1 64 bit and I'm very pleased with it. It gives all the eye candy of vista withouth the resource intake? It's even faster than Xp wow
I couldn't care less if its beta or not its great.
I didn't use vista but I just tried it out on a friends comp. Now that I have fully switched from Xp to 7beta1 I'm pleased. I love the little previews of open items when you put mouse over the icons and the merging of the taskbar with the quicklaunch although not liked by many I appreciate.
I got the hack to run dreamscenes so my desktop is niceley animated :hap5:
Overall I think it makes things easier with the nice user friendly addons(some of which you have already seen in Vista.)
Anyone else running windows 7 64 bit? willing to share experiences or windows 7 32 bit?.
One question I was dual booting windows 7 32 bit and windows 7 64 bit and I noticed that ram usage after booting up was 600mb on 32 bit and around 1gb in 64 bit. I klnow the graphics card is taking some of my ram and I don't know how to stop it but I was wondering if the ram usage increase means that 64 bit is utilizing more ram instead of page file like xp?
Feel free to share your windows 7 experiences (more importantly 64 bit version)here.
