dont ever go for net4domains. YOU HEAR THAT.. never.

Buy from either godaddy.com or namecheap.com they are the best.

any particular reason for net4india being bad cause last time someone from this forum had only recommended it to me
Basically we all post our experience with particular service or service provider.

And I judge any one with 1st shot only.

My 1st experience with them is bad and even if you search for review for service provide by net4..... you will find various complaints.

The best source for review is TE and than mouthshut.com (banned now).

If you think I am wrong give chance to Net4 and you will too joined me soon.

Well the domain techenclave.com was registered with net4india initially and after few months and hundreds of calls/emails to customer support later.. we shifted to godaddy.
Well since then never had to contact any customer support guy.

Well no experience with rediff so cant say. But whay do you want to go with some Indian provider.
I have suggested you the two best providers.. you can find positive reviews about both all over the net. Best thing is that they provide you the best of interfaces with lots of tools which usually the indian providers lack.
Well supposedly godaddy doesnt provide .in but namecheap.com does.

Hey Mod,

Please don't undervalue Indian Providers:-[. I can give you some examples of American Providers who cheat me as well as Indian too.

But now I have good but limited list of Best Service Providers in India and abroad too:hap2: .

I've used 3 to 4 hosting companies in India for 4+ years... none of them worked out. The only reason I stuck with each was because I paid them for the whole year which they were not inclined to return (great example of their BS). But then again, you only get what you pay for... for 2 - 2.5k per year, I really got nothing but crappy service and sucky hosting plans.

I've been with valueweb and godaddy for over a year and things couldn't be better... of course they're more expensive but I'd rather pay more for no trouble or issues.

Sorry to revive an old thread. Have you already bought a .in domain name? From Indiatimes??! :( God save you! Transfer it on renewal time or earlier. I have had a horrible experience with them and had to call them 5 times and send many many emails just to get my username and password to manage my domains!! All that I wanted to do was change DNS. :@

With net4domains, the last time I checked, they wanted me to register every domain for minimum 5 yrs!! That sucks big time. :bleh:

At present, I am resller of DirectI for domains (now its website.in). Due to some reseller discounts, I am able to offer .in cheaper than $17.99 that DirectI, Indiatimes, Rediff, etc. take.

You can also take it from Website.in (DirectI). At least their basic interface is neat and clear. I wonder what did the people at Indiatimes think when they made their domain section! It sucks big time!

I don't have a single client that is dissatisfied about my hosting service. If you want, you can try me out free for 30 days :hap2: Its Linux (cPanel) on Xeon 3GHz with 2GB RAM with PHP, MySQL, Fantastico, etc.
