Hello,

I know i can surf anonymously on the Internet through a proxy but what if I want my wireless router to show a different ip address instead of the original ip? just in case I have a devise connected and I don't want that devise to broadcast the original ip? is that possible to do and how if its possible. thank you..

ur router/modem will always show the ip it is allocated. u cant fake it. but u can change that using a proxy. but u have already mentioned u know that. so i will give no further help. btw did u tried tor?

Yup! Your router will always show the ip it is allocated. You can't fake it.

I use JonDoFox - It is a profile for Firefox which helps to surf web anonymously and its fast too.

its fast coz it relays ur data thru only one proxy. tor is slow coz it relays data thru more than 2 proxies.

^^ Well, you can switch between JonDoFox Proxy and tor in JonDoFox.. It's come very handy.. I use it with portable firefox..
