Mac OS Any support here?

I recently "downloaded" a 6.6GB .dmg image of OSX. Now I want to know that will Nero be able to burn it? I do have dual layer media and burner. I aim to install it on my desktop, a la Hackintosh! hyeah:

Are you sure its a Hackintosh release and not normal OSX , you cannot install normal mac releases on a PC . If you have the correct thing , then use MagicISO to burn it (you may have to convert it to ISO)

D'oh! How to find out if its a Hackintosh release or not. All I did was download the torrent file. Its 6.66GB .dmg file ! :huh:

Google for iATKOS v7 torrent , open and download the first result , its a 3.11GB ISO , burn it to a normal DVD .

First of all , make sure your PC components are supported here

HCL 10.5.7 - OSx86

If they are , then boot from the DVD and install it , dont forget to read the readme

Why? boot132 enables the use of normal retail version of Leopard on PCs. Basically it does what EFI-x does.

Just download ideneb 10.5.7 and don't try to install any other thing.

ideneb OSX is most stable on our kinda pcs.

Does it have all the kexts and fixes and options?

Download iPC latest version and ur good to go..

I got the iATKOS v7 but on booting when I tried to run it, screen goes blank and then system reboots. It happens everytime and my prognosis is that it doesn't works on my system. My config is, E8400,Asus P5QC, HD4850,4GB@800MHz, 1.2TB HDD space.Is the iDENEB the way to go now? :huh:

Try to boot in verbose mode Using the flag -v at the boot menu. Try booting with Safe mode as well as Verbose using the flag -v -s at the boot menu.
