Any tips on saving mobile plans?

Currently running an airtel postpaid plan of around 1800rs per month for 4 sim cards. I think I have like 300gb+ data left with all the rollovers.
Would like to know if there's any cheaper option within airtel as the act wifi data cap at home hardly runs out either.
Don't really like to use JIO plus too lazy to transfer the phone numbers

Jio Family Plan which is Rs. 449 + Rs. 150 per SIM will cost me Rs. 600 per month right? But then this also has tax on top of this, not sure how much.
So can anyone tell me what will be the bill for family plan with 2 SIM cards?
Because the 899 plan I recharge today for 90 days is going to be 1800 Rupees for 3 months which is 600 Rupees per month and no additional tax. Hence need to decide between the two.

Also, as per Jio's website, the 899 plan (90 days) has Jiohotstar subscription included. Is this correct? Because surprisingly, there is a 949 plan that is 84 days and has Jio hot star too. Why is the 949 with less days but more expensive?
899 says "FREE 90 DAYS JIOHOTSTAR" and the 949 says "JIOHOTSTAR INCLUDED". Very confusing.

Edit: Seems this is a one time offer per Jio Number. The jiohotstar subscription.

₹599 + 18% tax = ₹706.82 /mo.

Also don’t go for plans with OTT subscriptions. More often than not they’re downgraded versions of the actual plan (lower resolution & device restricted to mobile). If you want OTT for a low price, subscribe for a family plan and share with your friends.

We have not considered the use of family plans but individually my entire family uses the Airtel Prepaid 548 plan.

Rs 548 - Unlimited Calls+ 7 GB data - 84Days.
Roughly around 180 a month.

Worth it for us.

I keep my Mobile Data on most of the time as Vi is Offering Truly Unlimited Data right now as it discontinued it's 12 am - 6 am unlimited data Feature.

Currently recharged for 189 28 days plan with 2 gb data in jio, they have removed the yearly plan of 24 gb data. But airtel still has the yearly plan for 2249 with 30 gb data yearly. Looks like time to port out the number to airtel .

I recharged Jio with
448 - (unlimited voice only, validity 84 days)
195 - (15 GB data, validity 90 days)

Instead of the 889 or 700 odd rs plans which plunder our purses.
I used to recharge with 666 which became now 890.

Yep airtel is indeed in a better position now, imagine that! Only reason I'm not porting out is because of jio to jio hd call quality. Wish airtel had HD calling
For me due to lack of proper network, jio volte wi fi calling does not work. Airtel works great. For jio phone is most of the time coming switched off to other users when calling.

Could someone please clear my doubts on the Jio family plan matter. For a family of 3, all on Jio already, what's the minimum rate right now? Is it 449?
And more importantly, what's this add-on sim thing? If we all are on jio already we still need to pay 150 per sim card every month? Meaning over the top of 449, an additional 150x3=450 thus a total of 899?

I use 2 SIM cards on annual plans from Airtel and Vi, with a validity 6 months apart. Overall, that is 48 GB for the year at a cost of less than 4k, which is more than enough for browsing and audio streaming, while also being able to use the 2 numbers separately for offers across websites and being able to escape from WhatsApp spamming.
