I am from Hyderabad and presently using su*king beamcable , i have the option of

shifting to IQARA BROADBAND , they can provide 256 Kbps night unlimited for

only 550 rupees per month including all charges.

That too they provide 12 hours per day ( 10 pm - 10 am ) and the whole of

sunday
It will help me greately if some one can tell me what consistent speeds they

are getting and whether any hidden download limit exists .
 
no hidden costs, just taxes, so end up paying 550 pm, download speed is great, 30 KBps constant, and great service, not a single downtime, i wud say go for it...
 
Also i enquired Airtel... there is no service in my area..
Should I Wait for Airtel BB Or just apply for Iqara broadband

Please..... any suggestions???
 
how did u contact airtel btw? care to share their number? or any idea where they are providing service? :P

Coz ive been searching for Airtel hign and low but to no avail, for the moment, u can go for Iqara because with airtel, nothing is certain as to when they will launch and the feasability...
 
No idea of airtel BB but i say go for Iqara night angel (10-10) no hidden costs and constant speed of 26-28KB/s.no down time in the 3 months i used it.

airtel has cap limits for night time plans & for unlimited 256 it is 1k p.m.

so iqara, if its reliable, sounds mighty good :hap2:

advtg of airtel is, its reliable, at steady 26-28 KB/s

56 kbps is ur regular dialup i.e around 4-5 KB/s download speed & 80 kbps would give u arnd 7-8 KB/s dwnld speed.
 
Found this on another board :
Its waste waiting for Airtel now. They dont have premissions to dig the road here in hyd. Since the past 6-8 months they are only providing connections in abids koti and selected sec'bad areas, they have not expanded yet , due to to unhelpful govt. policies.

What should I do now? :S
 
the answer is staring you back from very 1st post :P go for iqara 256kbps night time unlmtd for 550rs, make sure there no download or upload caps :)

TataIndicom Broadband has come up with some new plans

64 kbps : 500
128 kbps: 900
256 kbps: 1600

Please help I am totally confused:S

which ISP should I go for?
 
Go with Tata Broadband 128kbps.

That is ofcourse if your into gaming online.

Gives 10ms to V-Street from any other city and 5ms from Mumbai (ofcourse ;))

and 60 ms to Singapore servers.

what speed do you generally get with the 128kbps ul plan.
 
There are no charges for iqara nite time unlimited plan except service charge and the download speed on bit torrent will be appriox 30 kb but that will be dependent on ur seeds

I have been using IQARA in Mumbai for a couple of years now. The speed is excellent. Consistently above 30 KBps. Downtime has been something of an issue. But I realised later that I can't fault them completely for it. The power switch for their equipment in our building was in one member's home. This member kept turning off the power switch from time to time, cutting of the connection to all members in the building. I don't use the night unlimited plan. I now intend going for the new plan that is introduced in response to MTNL triband's new plan. It is 400 MB per month at Rs 219/- all inclusive. This is adequate for my needs.
