Any way to track lost iphone in india??

Hi,
My frn iphone 4s was stolen today morning. any way to track iphone?
Find me app not installed in his mobile. I own iphone 4s and i know his apple id IMEI and all the details.
any way to track down?? plz help

i have seen a person in police station who tracks lost mobiles when i went along with my frn to gave complaint .recently he tracked down two galaxy S3 mobiles...

Go to the police station, file an FIR with the IMEI number of the device and wait for their response. Cops in the cyber crime cell are pretty much active nowadays tracking the devices quickly. Might be worth a shot.

And yes, like jugga mentioned a bit of greasing might go a long way in bringing a faster response. Or someone higher up you or you friend might know of.

There are even private agencies who do this for certain amount. I have seen this. A friend of mine had lost N70, who was traced by a pvt agency for 3k, in 6 months. Good luck with finding one.

If it is some expensive phone, i say it is worth to get the IMEI tracking done.

Yes, of course it is. But in today's world, private stuffs and confidential data along with sweet memories are much more worthy than money, just my view.
