Is there any way to hack into the Administrator`s password of Windows Xp

Will the method anyone provides work with all versions ?????

Waiting for an answer.

In the begining there aint any password need to log in as a Administrator, unless u have changed it.

[Edit]

Format can be done before u install a fresh version of XP.

there is one way.If there is password for Administrator it is difficult to hack but say a user has created an user name XYZ and as given admin rights to the username and if u need to hack his password there is way provided there is no adminstartor in the usernames and no password assigned.

boot the windows in safe mode (F5) in the login prompt username will be Administrator jus press enter u will be in to windows.go to userlist and remove the password for the particular username next time if login with XYZ username no need to enter password.:hap2: :hap2: :hap2: ofcourse its not hacking the password but u can consider it as an workaround:tongue:

^^ That was a bug in Xp Home only. By default in Xp Home installation the Adminstrator is never asked to enter pass during installation so via safe made u can get it.

But what if the admin sets a password later on?? Then this safe-mode method won't work.
Exactly...:cool2: !!! But most people dont do that.. I mean after installation they create own accounts and forget... But if the admin pass is set after installation then this will not work.
Actually what MS should have done is like Pro it should ask for admin pass at time of installation so that the default installation should not have a gaping hole like this.
