Anyone else having issues with beam cable from past 3-4 weeks ?

I have a beam cable connection(786 kbps plan-Rs600) connected to netgear wifi router WGR614. From the past 3-4 weeks i am having issues with my beam connection. Initially when I called them up last month they said they were performing a maintenance but now even after the maintenance is completed I am having issues.

When i ping beam DNS server or any other DNS like google's 8.8.8.8 or open DNS server for a few minutes i get average 25% loss of packets.

I use the command as "ping 8.8.8.8 -t" and terminate that after a few minutes to see the average results.

I have tried connecting my laptop to router using lan cable but it gives same result when i ping the DNS.

Also tried to reset the router to factory setting but no positive result was obtained.

The data seems to be coming in form of spikes as observed in the bandwidth monitor software.

Is anyone else facing a similar issue or has faced in the past ?

Also it works perfectly sometimes like past friday(14th Jan) and saturday(15th Jan) but from sunday (16th Jan) morning this behaviour is observed.
