Anyone experienced in buying home from a Builder? I lost one reciept..need help!

I have bought a house from Prestige Builders in Bangalore. It is bought on 24 installments (some by me , some by loan).
Some of the previous installments have been paid by the bank. The bank sends the check to the builder and we get the receipt .

Today I realized that for the October 12 (by bank) installment, I don't have the reciept.
Either it's been misplaced by me, or the courier .

Is it a problem? Can I get the duplicate receipt from the builder?

Don't worry either bank or the builder will give you a receipt. The bank anyways would be doing a fund transfer in the builders account. Hence they have the proof of payment. Getting a duplicate receipt with that shouldn't be a problem.

You can get a duplicate receipt. Also ask for your customer ledger that will show details of all receipts.

Your Bank account shows the transaction. Thats proof of payment too.

(I booked it 2 years back, 56 lakh for 2 BHK).
I asked them, they will give the duplicate receipt.
