Anyone on TE ever used any of these?

With my current MTNL supplied ADSL modem/router, I only turn it on when I need to go online and keep it off the rest of the time.

If we use an internal modem is it possible to manually turn it off or on?
 
Not sure.. but I paid like 2-300 buck extra and got a Belkin one.. it comes with a 5 year warranty + its a heard name against akeeo !
 
Is the Belkin an internal ADSL modem?

What are the other options for a internal ADSL modem?

And how does one turn on/off an internal ADSL modem?
 
it should be ok coz the basic components are the same as in a UTstarcom/beetel modem. I will be buying one shortly. and yes its not possible to turn off/on an internal adsl modem, it will turn on with the PC and turn off with it.

Which is THIS modem? Is it the Akeeo or Belkin you are talking about?
 
i USE akeeo modem. very goo dosent overheat and preconfigured for bsnl, mtnl airtel. price around (rs. 1100). Just need to type username, n password. Trust me its best for low snr lines and tight budget.

You are talking about the PCI internal ADSL modem? How is it working compared to other modems, give us a fair review about this product. From where you brought? how much you paid(500-1400 INR is the online prices ), Is installtion easy or not?

Pl reply you are the only one, there are lot of interest in this product but the input is not available.
