Anyone in Mumbai having problems with their broadband today?

am on exattnet broadband... for the past 3 days, the download speeds have been ridiculously slow... i'm on 512kbps, but speedtest on dslreports.com now only benches my connection at 33kbps!
even accessing websites like cnn.com take like 1 whole minute at least to load up the full page! :@

called the isp, and they said it's a whole bombay network problem.. frankly i doubt so since i haven't read anyone else complaining..
 
just ran off dslreports.com.. absurd upload speed, but the download speed is pissing me off!

So thats the fu*king reason, for getting such higher pings in CS on Vstreet Server. (all Vstreet servers are created on Exactt FYI) From the past 2-3days. I used to get 60 .. n now i m getting 160. LOL.. hope they fix the prob fast.

problem since 5th october.. early morning .. like 1am or so..
net was down onw whole day.. got running yesterday...
but f**kin slow speeds ! :@
my isp giving the same reason as urs...

btw.. how much u payin for d 512kb connection ??
 
I am on exatt tooo....i am facing the same problem as you guys....

surfing n downloadin are both tooo slow!!
 
Downloading Vista RC2 right now - check thumbnail pic - 2.6GB in around 28 Hours !!

No problems with my Hathway 256kbps BB conx !!! :clap:
 
Exatt is having serious Problems in Mumbai Currently Burnz.

I know this, as I work with V-Street, and well, Since our Servers are hosted there, it is an issue.

Even my pings to the Server, have increase quite a bit. I used to get 10ms, now I get 60ms. Due to no issue from my ISP.

Exatt promised us, that the issue will be fixed in a few days tops. They are having issues with Bandwidth, and I saw it coming anyways, since theyre popularity increased by a LOT. So did their speed plans. They offer even 2mbps. So we see where the problem lies.

Wait it out for a few days. Itll be fine. Dont worry about it.

Yep thats wht i m saying. I used to get 45ms :ashamed: pings on Vstreet servers in CS, n now i get 150ms .. OMG. Hope its fixed within few days. Damn i cant even snipe a standing person. JK :P
 
ok, so it seems that this really is a Mumbai-wide problem that's affecting all Exatt users... if it ain't, i was gonna go down to my ISP's office tomorrow, bang some tables and make sure someone's head rolls... because my download speeds have been unbearably slow (less than 12KB/sec!) and even loading US websites take ages! :(

@rajshah, i'm paying Rs 3k per month for my 512kbps unlimited connection

D/C'd around 7 times today in 90 minutes.

You have no idea how frustrating it is when you're gaming on an MMO Server.

Just thought I shud post up that today, I'm having issues too :\

at 3k a month for 512kbps unlimited, i think it's a crappy a$$ deal... for that kinda money, i'd be flying with 10mbps cable connections back in s'pore... no offence but honestly for a country that's known as an IT hub to the world, something's gotta be done about the broadband infrastructure here...

same here... 4th day and counting, the situation's not improved... download speeds are still under 15KB/sec despite using download managers to max out connections etc... even normal surfing is frustrating! they better hook me up on a 1mbps connection at no extra charge once they get this solved...
 
just great.. now even my office's MTNL 2mbps line is down.. been getting frequent disconnections since 10am today, and finally the network just went down an hour ago.. now i'm using my aircard as a last resort :(
 
guys, any improvements to ur broadband connections?

as of this morning, my download speeds are still < 15KB/sec... only 60% done with my Vista RC2 download :(

Well today has been a really sucky day. For some unexplainable reason I have a hard time staying connected to the damn net. For whatever reason it seems like my DSL modem (Westell 6100 provided by Verizon) just doesn't function right. It seems its fine when I am in front of the computer, but if I come back an hour or two later the connections is pretty lifeless. I'm downloading a torrent and it basically will download, but I will only have 1 or 2 people feeding me instead of the 30-40. I try doing a repair on the connection, but it just stalls out too. So the only option is to power on and off the modem and that gets everything back up and running again.

I wonder what has changed since last night to make this start acting all screwy.

Well i am in surat... and not on exatt yet m having same problems.. slow downloads and ups.... and gaming has gone crap as vstretee pings are like 300... b4 used to be like 30 40 .... :( ANY IDEA OF WHEN THIS ISSUE IS GOING TO BE SOLVED?

did the problems start sometime last week also?
