Anyone on TE currently playing Quake Live?

As stated in topic, wondering if anyone on TE is currently playing Quake Live?

Got the game couple of weeks ago. Still haven't played a game online. Wanted to know whether there are any Indian QL players around? If you do play or are interested in playing please let me know. There are servers for the game based in Singapore.

PS - I saw a thread on QL but as its 3+ years old so I thought I would start a new one rather than resurrect the dead...
 
I used to play quake 2 and 3,and then had started quake live.. Had completely forgotten about the game, until now. Will have to retrieve my account it seems, and start again :D
 
I used to play while it was in beta. But when it became live it had a lot of features i didn't like and stopped playing. Also, i was in S.Korea at that time and the pings were awesome. Back here and the pings were a lot messy.

I get 100 ping to the Singapore servers. Yet to play a game online but I think 100 should be okay. Not sure what features you didn't like as I am completely new to QL. Would be nice to play fellow countrymen so try and join if you can.
 
I played a few rounds yesterday. Couldn't find anyone online in Singapore servers. So had to play in some server with 170+ pings. Very hard to hit anyone at tht ping.
Was able to clearly make out my shots missing.
They have added a lot more maps. Interface is also better. Earlier was a browser plugin and used to work like BF3/4. Also seems like they have done an account cleanup .. all my stats were lost.

Get 70 ping to SG servers, but played on a 170 ping server seemed fine.. Played team deathmatch, just to get hold of the game play again..

BTW, there are a decent number of "active" Indian QL players. I found 15+ players yesterday. So a fair number of Indians are currently playing QL!

Krugur, msg me when you want to play. Just keep in mind that ATM, I only know two maps - Campgrounds & Aerowalk.

As I have never played QL online, I would want to practice for at least 15-20 minutes before we start a proper match because I have no idea how lag/hit detection works in QL online.

I actually don't mind just practicing rather than playing a proper match. In fact I would prefer that if possible till I get a feel of how lag works in QL...

Where are you guys? No sign of either of you. I don't even mind just practicing if not playing a proper match. Come on guys. :)
 
Look forward to it.

I've taken a Pro subscription for 1 month so we will be able to play whatever maps we want on our own server rather than being dependent on what maps are running in the current map cycle.[DOUBLEPOST=1390654666][/DOUBLEPOST]@prateekS

I saw you in QL today but I didn't message you because you were in a CA game at the time. Next time I checked, you had already left. Hope to play with you soon. :)
