Anyone owns a camera drone ?

just for fun , have a nice roof on my home with open spaces around me so it will be nice to click stuff n all.

Drone flying from roofs is no good as range is usually not too good. You need open grounds to enjoy flying drones. Checkout Amazon.com for options. Amazon reviews should be a good enough parameter to make a choice.

why will range be affected? i have seen models with like a 1000m range. even 60-70 metre enough for me

Not really. Havent bought any other than these two. From what i read, any cheap ones you look will be compromising a lot of features(App, range, follow me home etc.) and will leave you irritated.

I have a dji Phantom 3 standard which I bought for like USD$500 when I was in the US. That thing is quite good in my opinion even though its a bit out of your price range. But its very easy to use and I recommend it to first time users.
