Anyone played God of War 2 on the PS2 yet??

Heard this game came out last week or so? Anyone played it yet?
This is a PS2-only right? What a fitting finale to the console! :hap2: :hap2:

The only thing is .. This game is on a DVD-9 (dual Layer). :S
That's the only thing puzzling me.

Hope I'll play this one atleast by the month's end..

Even God Of War 1 was on dual layer, the pirated copies had extra content cut out so it could fit on a single layer DVD.

I'm going to get an original, going to wait for a week if it shows up in India, if not, Ebay.

lol-- a PS2 is chipped to play pirated DVDs along with the originals..

afaik , the game will face problems on a 4 gb dvd like it had with GOW 1 . not worth the frustration in my honest opinion ...

Yup. Those who've got a dvd burner can download the full rip torrent once it releases otherwise I would really suggest going with the original.

I say in about 4-6 months this will hit Platinum and go really cheap (Rs.999).

Otherwise, you can save up and get a good deal on the internet. Planet M and other stores that pack Ps2 games can also 'order' copies of GoW2 if it will be demand, we just need to ask them.
