Anyone using FTTH with their own SFP based router instead of CPE provided by ISP?

Hi, I have a SFP based router which is quite capable. Anyone has experience using home FTTH connected to SFP based router of their own?
Any pointers or suggestions as to type of SFP supported by ISP operators

Could you share how you sourced this SFP module. And is it XPON or GPON/EPON variant? Any idea how this one compares against HSGQ SFP module.

I am using one of the local ISPs in my city, so not entirely sure whether they would be compatible with all SFPs and even whether it's possible at all. Since have seen people reporting being unable to use SFP ONTs with ISPs like Excitel. Any pointers in checking whether my ISP might work or not would be very helpful.
