I mean, the unlocked phones from the likes of AT@T, Vodafone etc?
History: My Lumia 720's screen got shattered after some messy situation with the replaced screen, I had to buy a Moto E, while I eventually got rid of the 720 and bought a used 820. I was thinking about giving the Moto E to my brother, but he wanted to use the 820, so I ended up giving it to him.
Anyway I was looking forwards to the Lumia 730/830 But I really don't feel the design of 730 (and they got rid of the hardware shutter button!!) and 830 is a bit overpriced and had IPS LCD; and I wanted a windows phone with OLED screen. And the 930 will be out of my budget as well. So, this is where 925 comes in. I've been in love with this phone ever since I happened to read lay my eyes on this review and pics . Indian version has only 16GB of space and as far as I know only the Vodafone version abroad has 32GB. I've asked a friend in US to look for an unlocked 32GB version, by January when she comes back home in January.
So, the questions are:
1. I want to know about the OS updates? Will they be from Nokia/Microsoft or from the carrier?
2. Can I get the phone Flashed to Indian version of the OS?
3. Any other issues I may not know about?
If somehow my attempts to get/use a 925 fall through, I still might go for the 730. Or the Moto G second gen.
