WTB anyone want to trade 3.5" hdd for 2.5" hdd?

i have a working 3.5" 160gb sata hdd which i am not using.

i need a working 2.5" internal hdd for my ps3, which neednt be large capacity.

was wondering if anyone was interested in doing a exchange if they needed a 3.5" hdd for any reason/have a spare low capacity 2.5" hdd lying around?

Thought so. I swapped out the 320 GB HDD that came with my PS3 slim with a WD WD10JPVX 1 TB.

I wouldn't recommend using an old HDD with PS3 and since you will have to get one make sure you get 250 GB at least because a lot of games (not all) install on it for faster loading, some have it as an option and some don't install at all.

If you are getting a 1 TB hdd get the one I bought as it works, if not make sure it is less than 9.5 mm in height. This can be an issue with some 1 TB hdds but lower than 1 TB it won't be an issue.

Simply get a bracket (from eBay) and a hdd of your choice and start gaming.
