Where to go donate which has CLEANEST hygienic place as im scared of getting aids or some crap by donating and they not using clean stuff. have never donated so want to do tht this sunday as earlier i made excuse that it will make me lose my gainz though i was just scared of getting infected at these hospitals etc or with needles. GURGAON ONLY

"donate" and "for cash" are mutually exclusive IMO :p
From my experience; the max you can get is a biryani :D

Go to any government approved blood bank It's safe.
Or corporate hospital blood bank if 5 star interiors make you feel safe. Medanta Hospital should be near to you in Gurgaon, they do a lot of Adult and pediatric Cardiac surgeries, where the requirements of donated blood will be very high.

Alternatively you can group with like minded coworkers and ask a nearby blood bank to keep a donation camp at your office , you can get to evaluate the safety of needles, bags etc yourself.

Okay, so here is what you should check.
before starting the blood donation, they should make you to talk to a doctor/nurse who will ask all the relevant questions like health status etc... A basic questionnaire.
Then some hospitals like apollo take your blood sample from finger and check basic stuff like sugar levels etc...
then Weight, height check, BP check etc...
Then they will take you to the donation place and make you sleep on a bed. Some places have those awesome recliners which put your legs up and have hand rests.
They put the needle on your arm and put the bag down. Again same places which have the recliners have a small device which gently oscillates the blood bag thats collecting your blood. the needle is huge don't be scared its normal.
Some places give you a stress ball so that you keep pressing it while the blood is drained.
After everything is done. They should put a band aid on your arm where they put the needle. not just a cotton ball.
Then you should get a fruty and sometimes accompanied by parle g biscuits. Nurse should check if you feel nausea etc... and make you sit there for some 15 mins before letting you go.
Do not drive back home. ideally someone should drive you back home. but depends on person to person.

Hope that helps.

Most if not all the blood donation places/camps are well organized. I have only donated blood twice (when I was in college). On both instances they refused some of my friends after looking at their nails/physique etc.
In my case they took 2 bags (after taking my permission) instead of 1. You get a frooti/banana/parle g/egg/glass of milk depending upon where you donate blood. I have donated blood at both camps and hospitals. A hospital, no doubt, has a better environment/feel than a camp but both follow proper medical protocols IMO.

thanks all , yes medanta is closest. i will call them and see how to do it. Gonna take my supplement shake and gatorade incase they dont give anything to recover as i will drive back alone only. Pretty sure they will be amazed by my bloodwork as im very fit and blood full of vitamins and minerals ,lol
