^^ Okay Sire what SMPS do you have in your cabinet, and what all peripherals are drawing power from the UPS.

Jokes apart Sire, APC UPS's have a serious issue with most Corsair power supplies.

This happens when your voltage drops. The ups will switch to the battery mode when this happens. You can change the settings in the ups to reduce the minimum acceptable voltage, i don't remember it well. You can call the APC customer care and ask for the procedure.

It's not a problem, it's the voltage regulator. when the power supply goes above and below a certain voltage it switches to battery power.

The procedure to set the sensitivity to 'low' is in the user manual that came with the UPS (I recently bought two of these). As is a description of what you call a problem - though it's not a problem but your UPS interacting with the poor quality power supply in your city.

And APC has no longer any problems with Corsair PSUs. My VX450 is very happy with the new 600VA BR series UPS.

dude thnx for the help, i checked the sensitivity setting and chaged low, medium and high. But still no result.

is there any way to shut the beepping noise,

try using a voltage stabilizer in between ups and mains. stabilizer might help to bring down voltage by a small margin if its not above 290v.

To shut the beeping noise, if you have APC powerchute installed, there is an option to mute the sounds at all times. By default it is set to 8pm - 8am, but can be changed to "never" or something like that.

what stabilizer should i use, the one i use for the Tv and fridge or any specific one cause i dont want to shed thousands of bucks,,,

and does my UPS support powerchute, could u explain...

^ APC powerchute is the software that you get along with the ups. Its used to show input voltage , etc on pc side. Your ups needs to support that feature though.

Seeing the specs of your ups on APC site, it seems your ups does not have option of auto shutdown for system. So no ups control cable i guess.

Get a 500w buck boost voltage regulator. Should help to control low/extra voltages. Dont know the cost though, might be around 2k.

Example - Line-R 600VA Automatic Voltage Regulator

@6pack, holy god, even my ups cost me 2.1k, then the only thing is sell this ups.

Thnx for the reply.
