App to Convert DigiCam Photos & Videos into VCD/DVD

Suggest some software to convert photos & videos (.avi) shot with Digicam into VCD/DVD that can be played in VCD/DVD player.

Small correction... Since the photos & videos are shot in a single function ..photo / video /photo .... like that the output to the disk needs to be sontinuous ... may be i need a movie making software
