A friend of mine bricked his 4 month old ipod Nano 3G.

So just wanted to know if there's any Apple Authorized service centre in Delhi or Pune?:ashamed:
 
dont know about apple authorized centre in pune and delhi

but wanted to ask u ..how did he brick the i pod nano 3g ? i mean how does it get bricked ?

did u try totally restarting\restoring the firmware ?
 
^ Maybe cause of a improper firmware installation during which the battery ran out....

[OT] I have an old ipod mini 4gb with a screwed headphone jack and the battery doesn't hold a charge for more than a minute. Can i get it exchanged for a newe r nano by giving some cash and my old ipod ? [OT]
 
Well, i don't completely know what went wrong...but he just told me that something went wrong during the firmware upgrade and it just crashed and it won't start at all now.
 
according to Apple webiste the only authorized service centre of apple in India is at bangalore here is the address.

PS: i too tried modding ma pod with some firmware since its under warranty i got it replaced in a weeks time :)

yes they ll. n f that cant they ll take it n send it further up the chain to someone who can.

i ve tried rahul commerce (pune) for some basic warranty related queries n they ve been pretty prompt :)
 
My freind messed up with his Ipod Nano,he got a brand new one in return from some official apple service centre in delhi...dnt knw whr xactly
 
^^ is it the same for battrey problems..

cause my 3-4 months old ipod nano 3rd gen doesnt hold a charge of more than 10-12 hours ..max at times 14 hrs while

apple says it should last 22-24 hours...

but i expect atleast 18-20 hrs of battery life with only music and brightness at 50 %

so should i get my pod RMA'ed from apple service centre ?
 
ma friends ipod isn't working. he also did sumthing wid it and now its gone.its a 30 gb ipod he went 2 the service centre. they told him they wont repair it. they'll jst replace it. they told 2 pay around 3500 for a 30gb one. i jst wantd 2 knw is the deal worth it. or he sud get another ipod coz 30gb production is closed.

is it under warranty? if yes then he shudnt have to pay extra. any specific reasons they gave for askin extra charge from him?
