I have an old Windows Laptop running XP PRO, and I have just bought an Apple Desktop. Now I would like to run official Win 7 PRO on it. Is it possible to upgrade the XP of my laptop to WIN7 and install on desktop.

Just get yourself a OEM disk from newegg.com and install it using Boot Camp!

But how will I get the updated key. Will I need to install xp and then upgrade it.
