They gonna again try to rule the customers ...

i hope somebody jailbreaks their consoles the day Steve is giving a demo of their MIND BLOWING technology and propriety games..

Apple could stick an analog nub into the ipod and it would become the greatest gaming device ever.... But only for so long. Unless game devs are willing to back them up and right now, I'm not sure they will.

Look at it this way, they've gotten All record labels support (iTunes), they've gotten all film studios support (AppleTV), they've gotten support from Intel to make customised chips for the MacBook Air. Why on Earth would game developers not back them?

my my, such wrath. but why? If you don't like it, don't buy it. No one's forcing you to.

Because game development works differently? Unless Apple's new device is similar in architecture(not to mention firmware) to the popular handhelds currently available which it will not be, Apple's gonna have a tough time convincing devs to port over or develop entirely new IP's for it's device.

I don't see any reason for Game Devs not to back them. Apple is surely gonna pack all the iTouch features into this thing, it actually might be the first handheld console I buy lol.

On a sidenote, if Apple can manage on pack all of the features of iPlay (?) into the iPhone 2, then we're talking! :ohyeah:

Well, obviously devs like EA will back this up no matter what. Heck, I bet they've already formed together a team to start punching out games for it.

yeahhh... I knw abt the game they are developing inhouse..its called WinFrag---player need to tose windows installed robots with theri iGun,,also player can use various other hi-tech devices like-ipooder(a tiny mine)...lol lol lol lol lol
