hi guys
my friend gave the iphone 3G 16 GB from usa where it is usa version network AT&T network and need to unlock or use jail break at Indian version any idea
does anyone own apple iphone 3g or 2g any gb does not matter ;)

btw he is using 3.1.3 firware from usa but i dont know should i unlock or using jail break some confused :S

i download the Spirit after reading the tutorial l video from this website but the problem not able to access itunes something wired due to jailbreak :|

btw can anyone guide me recommend how to unlock or jailbreak this phone to india area network :S

also tutorial should help with HD quality :)

cause he need this iphone for make call at india only using Indian sim service code :S :ashamed:

Ok, right now the phone is on 3.1.3 firmware, is the phone showing the home screen or connect to itunes logo?

If the phone is showing 'connect to itunes to activate' or 'emergency calls only' then you cannot use the spirit jailbreak... then phone needs to be activated in order to use the spirit jailbreak.

If the phone is at the home screen then just connect the phone to your computer and run spirit, phone should reboot jailbroken.

After that start cydia and install Fuzzyband , then use fuzzyband to downgrade the phone's baseband to an older version since 5.12 cannot be unlocked.. after you do that download ultrasnow from cydia to unlock the downgraded baseband.

If you are stuck on the connect to itunes screen and cannot jailbreak then get an active at&t sim from somewhere and use it to activate the phone since you can jailbreak only if the phone is activated.
 
^ can to pls give me website source and video if possible i got less confused of jailbreak :s
 
^ my bad i make the mistake i got some wired problem i want to restore all original files

where all the song and software has mess up due to some issue and i restore oringal files and it need activation

and i got stuck so need activation from A&AT so is this possible to hack or inside the valid slim should activation the code :|
