I was wondering if it’s possible to combine the student discount with the HDFC offer? If I am correct only Apple store online has the student offer but then it does not have HDFC card offer. While the two sites linked have HDFC offer but no student offer.

Ah got it. But at offline store I would have to show my Id card right? I don’t have a student id and was looking to use a id from my friend to buy it online and then have the HDFC card on top of it.

Offline retailers generally give 2-6% student discount (arbitrary between different stores as there's no fixed policy). Yes, you will need a valid ID card. HDFC discount on top of it. Ask your friend to buy it for you if using a student card offline.
Apple online store verifies via Unidays, and gives a 10% flat discount. I think AMEX is running a RP multiplier for Apple right now (it was available a few days back). Or use any other CC with 1-2% CB is possible.

Student discount is always 10% IIRC, at least for Macs. iPad discounts from what I remember is based on model.

Let's see what the next 6 months are like for Adobe native support with M1. If They manage to get super smooth scrubbing like I've seen with LumaFusion on the iPad for certain codecs then I know for sure what my next machine will be.
