Apple has released iOS 6 beta 4 to developers , its available as over-the-air download and also through its developer portal for the iPhone 4S , iPhone 4 , iPhone 3GS , new iPad , iPad 2 , iPod Touch ( 4th gen ) and Apple TV .

The major change is that YouTube app has now been removed from iOS 6 .

"Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended," said Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller on Monday.

Apple said that users with iOS 6 can either view YouTube on Safari browser or though an app which Google will distribute through the App Store .

Recently Google Maps was replaced by Apple's own mapping technology in iOS 6 , and now Google owned YouTube has also been removed .

Other and improvements in the new beta are -
  • Upon login for the first time, users are asked to input their iCloud credentials.
  • Improved privacy settings, including for Bluetooth sharing
  • The Passbook application now has a button that links to the App Store. Presumably, Apple will have a new iOS 6 section that features apps that are powered by Passbook.
  • Improvements to Maps
  • Siri now shows an updated information menu that includes the new iOS 6 Siri capabilities

Good to hear that. Now google would be making their own YouTube app for ios and it would be better than what apple did.

So, the YouTube retains in previous FW, right?
And I believe google comes with great build.
